Our concept

Our View of the Child

Children learn successfully from birth when they can engage their senses in various ways to absorb and process complex impressions. The foundation of early childhood education is, as we know, perception with all the senses.

A child discovers, explores, and shapes their world and the things that belong to it, as well as the natural and social phenomena and connections within it, through activity with all their senses from their very first breath. An active child is always learning; they can’t help it. They create their own picture of the world and do this out of their own motivation. Children want to learn and strive to accomplish something meaningful in this world.

Our Role as Educators

As educators, we see ourselves as companions to the children, both teaching and learning along with them.

It is important for us to accept every child as they are—as independent, unique personalities with all their strengths and weaknesses, their needs, feelings, and experiences.

We create the conditions, time, and space and provide various inspirations so that each child can develop at their own pace. We meet the children’s curiosity with appropriate offerings and stimulate their educational processes.

We aim to create a place for children where they feel comfortable and where their specific needs can be met on many levels. Our daycare provides the foundations for diverse learning. It is an independent life space for children, giving them the opportunity for social contacts and social learning. This should be a place where social and individual challenges are recognized, and solutions to overcome them are encouraged. We provide a supportive environment for parents too, where they can find guidance, connect with other parents, and space for their own projects with their children.

The daycare is also an important living environment for our staff. We are equally committed to their well-being.
